[SOLVED]Free Shipping Always Active

store owner has OC v1.5.1.3.

enabled free shipping and flat rate shipping. only ships in US. set a $30 level in free shipping and set a flat rate in the modules. created a US shipping zone to include all US zones.

problem is that free shipping is always an active option at checkout even when the subtotal is below the limit set in the module.

seems a simple setup but i'm obviously missing something basic here. any ideas about what we may have done wrong?

found it. really dumb on our part. store owner entered limit as "$30.00". remove the "$". all's well.

Thanks for posting what the issue was, as this may happen to someone else new to OpenCart in the future.

In an ideal world, non-numeric characters should be stripped from that field, but that's probably not high on the OpenCart team's priority list.
