Hello,

I'm in the end of writing an extension that you can import amazon products based on a search criteria to opencart. The idea is to "transform" an opencart store on an amazon affiliate store, so you can get comissions. The process of buying a product changes at the checkout and the user is redirected to amazon with the cart contents being the same as it is in opencart.

I'm developing this for my brother, but I'm thinking on putting it on sale here, because this took a lot of job and effort to get done.

What do you think? I don't know if this is something that the community want/needs.

There is http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... n_id=11716 in the extension store. Haven't tried it, but looks like it would do what you want.

A few others that will do this are in the store too, so do a search.

Hello, I have an opencart store where I sell my own product line. I am featured in a book so I put an affiliate link on my home page so that I can receive commissions from the sales of the book that come from me. Now I thought I would put some recommended products that I like in a category but have them be affiliate products. I'm able to add the recommended products drop down but I don't know how to put affiliate products there. I have my own products too so I don't want to have an affiliate store. Is this something I can do with the current set up of open cart or do I need to add a module?
