Product Pages Improvement

I don't know if this was alredy discussed, but i've done few search and didn't finded it.
I Think OC is the best and easiest eCommerce Platform I have ever seen, but it can be improved for some aspect.
For example, I think (and i know i'm not the only one) that the product creation and view pages can be improved a lot, by changing order of fields, taking the most relevant field in the first page, such as States - Sort Order - Date - Quantity - Images - Manufacter. They won't take much space, and will make a better and fast creation and edit page. Tabs are good, but for optional feature. Tell me if i'm wrong. Thanks

Better would be if its possible to configure which fields to be in first section.

So every site owner has imp fields in first section(Tab)
