Category page not displaying the right number

1.5.3.1 - Another issue.
As default, I have set to show 16 items. However, it only displays 8. If I choose an other display number option at the store front, e.g. show 25, 50, 75, 200, no matter what I chose - it will stick with 8.

I am talking abut the "Category Page" - now you give me a guessing task
Sorry, I'm not that good in guessing so I need to take two!
One, with "storefront" you refer, indeed, to the category page which I mentioned in the heading. Then I need to say I have only 2 module placed there [A] Specials )left column and
Latest(left column and they are placed in sequence as I mention them, after the category menu.
Two, with "storefront" you refer to the home page of the store. Then I need to say, 3. From the top:
[A] Banner (Home Page Slideshow)
Featured (show max. 5) + I have the Random Display Extension added to it, too
[C] Carousel (manufacturers) show max 6
That's it,

Solved now.
It's Apple's old and ongoing cache problem! nothing to to with the store.
I needed to use the terminal and actually flash Mac's cache system (Browser clearing, resetting and restarting dosen't do it on a MAC. You need to actually kick Apple's butt. (lick a kid, they just do it over and over again ;-)
