So I converted from 1.30 to 1.32
I've never tested the email features in version 1.30 but now that I'm testing it in 1.32, I can't get it to work.
Is there something that I should do to get it working?

See this thread
http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php ... 740#p31518, copy the provided code and paste into "system/library/mail.php" replacing what's there.

Okay. I got that part figured out but what I'm talking about is the newsletter feature. I can't select anyone to test it out.
I'm trying to use the newsletter feature but only select certain users. Its seems that feature is not working.

The newsletter interface is very un-intuitive. You have to search for people and then add them to the newsletter one at a time. It would be much better to pre-populate the first empty box with all the opted-in customers so you could do just what your saying. Another option would be to send newsletters based on user groups.

It is my understanding (as least it is how it works on my setup) that if the upper pull down is "blank" (default) then you search for names and move them over to the second box..
however if you select "All Newsletter Subscribers" or "All Customers" then you have to do nothing else and the newsletter / message will go to all in one of those groups.
I agree it is not documented clearly enough for people who have never used it.

Correct. It worked for me this way.
