Sort Products by Quantity / Availability

Hi, I'm trying to sort product by quantity so that available products will appear first and out of stock products will be pushed to the bottom. The only thing I managed to find was this thread http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?t=9074#p211678 Unfortunately, it does not seem to work. Perhaps it was intended for a different version. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you, and have a nice day.

I would assume if it's not an option by default a lot of people would be discussing the topic, but yeah I can't find anything on it. Doesn't make much sense to have sold out items appear at the top of your store. Thanks again.

there is "PRODUCT SORT" module on extension page. You can ask the dev to custom it to sort by quantity.
