Would it be possible to automatically set an affiliate account for every registered user on my site?
I want to reward users for inviting their friends to join my site.

Customers sessions and affiliate sessions are two separated sessions upon authentication. OpenCart does not handle distinction between them other than both accounts being used at the same time or only one of them being used.
Dedication and passion goes to those who are able to push and merge a project.
