Customer group prices not being added to cart

I have set 3 customer groups with varying % discount applied. When I log in as one of these groups to the front it shows me the correct discounted price on the product page.

However when I add a product to the cart it adds it at the default price with no discount.

I am using cersion 1.5.2.1

Any ideas?

I have the opposite problem. When the group customer is logged i they see the standard rate and see the discounted rate when they add it to the cart.
