Downloadable Products/Autocomplete

Okay, I'm a noobe to opencart. Dosesn't seem that hard though but missing something.

I create a free software product, and want it to autocomplete

I have SYSTEM>SETTINGS>CHECKOUT
Order Status: COMPLETE
Complete Order Status: COMPLETE
Return Status: Awaiting Products

1)I only want to sell SOFTWARE DOWNLOADS, and no physical copies.
2) I WANT TO HAVE AUTO-COMPLETE of orders (FREE OR PAYPAL)

I am using Opencart version 1.5.3.1

I am migrating from prestashop, and never had this problem with prestashop. It seems opencart is set up for more physical then software downloads, could be wrong ???

Anyways, please help me I'd appreciate it.

you can set it in the options tab of this section from your default oc setup:
admin/index.php?route=setting/setting
and you can set when users will be able to download your products after the order, bu default it's complete, and you ca nchange it into Awaiting.

Set up your DOWNLOADS in CATALOG>OPTIONS, then tie a download to a product in your product details under OPTION TAB. Type the name of the option in the auto fill and tie it to the product.

I'm a newbie to opencart. Just downloaded this week.

so it would be more helpful to provide a complete solution, and not just say goto xyz and edit the option. That's not very useful in a help forum, such as this.

If you look around you will see that most all questions are answered in depth. However, some are not. It depends on the depth of the answer and also how much time it takes. If yours was not answered in depth then there is a reason for that.

avvichi, I explained the problem very succinctly. However; the responses did not resolve the issue.

Until I have this done, I can't migrate from PRESTASHOP TO OPENCART. I'm stuck on prestashop for now :(

I'd love todo the migration, once I get the full solution, on how to setup a FREE Downloadable Product in OPENCART.

Can't be that hard, but doesn't work.

If you want the payments to autocomplete, then you just need to edit your payment options (EXTENSIONS > PAYMENT) and set the status to "Complete" or whatever you want them set as
