Convincing my partner: examples of large stores on OpenCart?

Hello,

This week I am deciding with a partner to either use OpenCart or Magento for our webstore. I am totally in favor of OpenCart, but my partner is very sceptic. Without having really good arguments he says OpenCart is not ready for serious business. I think examples of large stores using OpenCart could easily convince him.

Does anybody know of large/popular webshops using OpenCart?

All tips are welcome!

Enjoy ;)

P.S. If your partner still wants to go for Magento, better loose him, than loosing your business :P

Thanks for the tip. I looked around that forum shortly. The problem is that it are mostly small startup shops. I've got no problem with that, and most of them look really good. The thing is that I would like to know of a very large store (preferably backed by a large company) so that I can say; "you see.. OpenCart is for serious business! ".

Plus, I've got a meeting in about 2 hours in which I want to present my grand plan for using OpenCart.. :)

Well, I managed to somehow convince my partner. The Madlime website I think was a major plus-point, even with "only" 41.000 products in it.. :-)

For future readers of this topic; I found a couple more websites which may not be large, but do give a "professional feel" to it.
http://store.nadadesigns.com/
http://www.brandstyle.gr/
http://itsbeds.co.uk/
http://meanbeanies.com/
http://kinleaves.com/store/
http://cdkeysonline.info/
and of course http://www.madlime.com/

Thanks for the help, and I look forward to working with OpenCart!

Its not really shops with lots of products that you need as a reference.
Its well known sites (say Bricks and mortar) that use Open cart.
And sites that are making lots of sales.

I'm with Opencart, but have yet to make any sales on it.
I realise that I have a lot to do, but would have liked some sales by now.

No wonder Madlime does so well.

Always free shipping (from China)

And very low prices.

@Kramer

That list of stores you gave above is very good.
Yes they do look professional.

But most of them aside from the Beanies shop have very low Alexa rankings (from 3 to 15 million)
So how many sales are they making ?

(Madlime has a fairly good Alexa ranking of 148,000)
