Did something stupid!!! Please help...

I screwed up something trying to be smart . I had installed the "yourbox" module by imaginetech (very nice module btw) properly and used it. However I needed another box. So I thought of renaming it so that I dont get confused with which box is for what as in the admin it just says yourbox. I just renamed your "yourbox.php" files to "yourbox_credit_cards.php" and pasted it in all the folders mentioned in the instructions. I wanted to show the pics of all the credit cards the shop accepts. When I tried to install my newly created mod...it gave ann error. I tried to open the front end and now I cannot load my site at all. It gives an error...below..

Error: Could not load controller module/yourbox_credit_cards!

Any idea what it could be and how to solve it? I have deleted all the yourbox_credit_cards.php files as they didnt work.

There will be entries in the data base for it to be loaded. My guess (as I don;t really know for sure) is that the table 'settings' seems to contain settings for the extensions.

Not sure if this will work, but may be worth a try as you have screwed it already.

Also, not sure what version your on, so the name may be right.

See if you can see it in 'settings' table. or atleast change the value of 'name_status' to '0'

name will be what ever you called it, so most likely 'yourbox_credit_cards_status'

As I say, I haven't tried it, so I may be completely worng, but what do you have to loose? I'm sure I will get corrected if it's wrong.

Try Admin > Modules > Click 'Uninstall' on that module.
Actually in 1.3.2 there is a table called extensions delete it from there if the above doesn't work.

lol, I read it as he couldn't get into the admin too, not just front end. D'oh.

Thanks Gavin and Imaginetech. There was an extension in the database. So I just had to search for it and then just deleted it from the database. It worked.

Off note..my heart was in my mouth for a day as I am trying to build a site for my gf. I have so far uploaded almost 300 products. If I had screwed it big time, I would have been murdered by someone lol
