Moving Catalog Files on Server

I'm setting up OpenCart on shared hosting. I've placed all the catalog files in a temporary folder (091509test, for example) located one level below the root on the server, so that I can do mods and testing before "going live". The MySQL files are homed on a different server. When I'm ready, I want to move all the catalog files, tree structure still intact, up to the root level on the server (it appears, thankfully, that OpenCart is set up with relative file paths). If the database is untouched, will this work, or am I going to have issues?
