How to change the template?

Hai, i`m totally newbee...i just install the default Opencart to my hosting at www.budakboygolf.com. I want t o change the template, but i dont know how, any help to newbee like me? Where and to which folder to upload the new template? Thanks pall.

Just read the readme that comes with the themes to install them.

You can select themes by logging into admin and going to admin> configuration > setting.

Thanks for the info Pal, but i cant find the readme file. Em actually i want to upload the new template to the website. So where actually i need to upload it? Which folder? I already install the new theme to Template folder, but still not apear on the setting site. Any idea pals?

If it is an OC template, you should just upload it to the same directory as OC - Most template developers place folders within folders so that you dont have to worry about where to place the files. (if you want to know, it should reside in catalog/view/theme)

After uploading the template if you dont see it in the admin dropdown, then:
1. Clear your cache and refresh the admin page.
if that doesnt work then
2. You will need to place a screenshot thumbnail (or other picture) of the template in images/template. Make sure the name of the image file is exactly (case sensitive) the same as the name of the template folder.
