Checkout problems in 1.3.2

Hi.
Couple of issues, if anyone else is experiencing the same your advice would be greatly appreciated.
1st: When a user checks out, they are faced with a number of � � � � � around the total order
2nd thing is that the discount coupons always state:
Error: Coupon is either invalid, expired or reached its usage limit!
I have tried a number of different options now... cant figure it out!

i'm not sure what you mean on your first question.
the second one might be because the of the start from date and end date?

Hi Tharrison,
This might be related to UTF-8 file encoding. I have had similar problems on some multilanguage websites (some charaters from German, Dutch,Turkish alphabets or sometimes invisible empty spaces! gives this funny result). Create a new file using UTF-8 in notepad++ and copy-paste the data from your existing template (and/or language) file to this one.
Rename the existing file and use this new one instead.
See if it will help. It helped me

thing is that the discount coupons always state:

Do a few tests to find out what the problem is. Its not a coding problem.
most likly you have not set the start date and end date.
