Moved language,currency and search

Hi

I recently downloaded and installed opencart. On my testserver for the moment, to make some modifications and to apply a new look to it. This required to move the language, currency and search module from layout.tpl to header.tpl, but they don't show up. I tried different things, looked everywhere, but i cannot make them work. Anybody has any ideea where and what to modify or insert?

Somehow i managed to do it. On short terms for currency:

1) i took the content of currency.tpl and inserted directly in header.tpl
2) the content of currency.php i inserted it in header.php, removing the duplicate entries of course
3) and it works
4) same for the other two
