Delivery cost per product

Hello,

I'v just installed opencart and have some questions:
1. In the admin panel i see an option Delivery cost per product, so when i install this every product that someone orders get a delivery cost. What i want now, is a different delivery cost for a product, that is not based on weight but depends on the specific product
2. Additionally is there a possibility that we charge delivery cost depending on the area where the product has to be delivered?
3. We would like to add some extra attributes to the information of the receiver of a package like telephonenumber. Is that possible?

Your best bet would be to go with an extension like UPS, USPS, or DHL that automatically calculates shipping cost based on the customers ZIP CODE and you zip code. Open cart already is set up to connect to UPS or USPS. You simply just have to sign up an account with them and install it.

There are several extensions you could buy to set up delivery cost per product or delivery cost per order shipping cost.

I think this one makes what you want. Set up shipping cost per product:
