(utf8_strlen($option['value']) > 20
then the extension stops working and it reverts to sending the store owner a minimal detail email.
How can I fix this?
Opencart 1.5.2.1
I notice that you don't reply to most of the comments and queries left on here which is a shame. Have you thought about doing so?dekko wrote:Great extension - thank you. Slight problem though. The customer email shortens the options detail to 20 characters. I want to show a more complete option detail but If I increase this to say 30 characters in catalog/model/checkout/order.php

This is an OpenCart issue, not related to this extension. Please open a bug report at http://forum.opencart.com/viewforum.php?f=161dekko wrote:The customer email shortens the options detail to 20 characters.
I am sorry that it took me a while to answer your question. As you might appreciate, this is volunteer work, for which there isn't always time. I am trying my best.dekko wrote:I notice that you don't reply to most of the comments and queries left on here which is a shame. Have you thought about doing so?

OC 1.5.5.1 & VqMOD 2.4.0 - as I said, no problems with the mail setup as I still get the old "sparse" email and email from my contact forms, just not the copy the customer gets
any pointers would be greatly appreciated!!!
Sorry to hear that.qixbix wrote: still only receive the old sparse email
Do you have any mods changing the customer email?

no mods at all that affect the customer email, nor any hardcoded changes that I can think of.
I've uploaded a fresh order.php file and still the same.
As a side note, your product pictures in email dosn't work either
That makes me think there's something very basic thats wrong. e.g. vqmod not installed/active. My mods' XML files not in correct location etc.qixbix wrote:your product pictures in email dosn't work either
PM me your site address and FTP login details and I could have a look.

Not with this extension. The idea of this extension is to keep things exceedingly simple, and send the exact same email to admin as to customer.alewis wrote:Is it possible to have a different greeting on the admin email ?
Admin mails CAN be made slightly different, but that's kindof the antithesis of the extension, so I will never make this extension do that.
If you want the change made just for you, please PM me and I can provide a quote for the custom work.

I have weird things happening possibly not related to your extension, but... any suggestion is appreciated.
Confirm email gets sent regularly, but its characters are not ALL in UTF-8 format.
Some are while some are not.
In other words, greeting, footer text and table headers are not, while the item and customer details are OK.
I have looked at:
1. catalog/model/order.php and there is UTF-8 line associated with greeting line,
2. catalog/view/theme/*/template/mail/order.tpl and there is meta charset utf-8,
3. catalog/language/*/mail/order.php page is UTF-8 encoded.
Where to look more?
Check the encoding of the PHP (and TPL) files themselves. Also re-confirm your database collation.Ljubo wrote:Where to look more?
