Double click to insert image in filemanager Doesn't Work

HI everyone.

I need some help.

I installed a fresh copy of opencart, and having a problem adding an image to and information page or newsletter.

I am doing this:
- Click on the image icon in the Editor
- Click Browse Server
- Double clicking on the image I wanted to be inserted.

NOTHING HAPPENS

I tried uploading new image, didnt make a differnece. I tried it on different browsers still the same problem.

Can some one help / advise how to fix this issue ?

Its annoying, that I couldn't find anything related on this forum....

try replacing filemanager.php in admin/controller/common with a fresh one and check your permissions

I just did that, but then when I click browse server, all the images on the server are no longer there, even when I upload.

however, I found an old version of "filemanager.php" ( original for my version ) sitting on the server, I used it and it worked.

I think the problem was, that the active filemanager.php was modified to allow upload of PDF files, and that seems to stuffed it up.

Thanks for your help, at least it prompted me in the right direction.
Would you know how to allow the file manager to upload pdfs ?

No sorry, I upload any PDFs with filezilla.
