How to add datepicker to a product option

Using OpenCart 1.5.1.3 (theme does not yet support 1.5.2.1).

On the product page, the user can add some personalisation to the product via the options.
One of the options is the date.

Is there any way that I can add a datepicker to that option? The option's html 'name' is different for each product so that is not reliable.

Sorry but, can you not just create DATE as an option and assign it to your product of choice? Date Picker is indeed the DATE OPTION. Or, are you talking about adding the date picture to the text area?

Am glad you understood me. I misspelled date with data. You just may want to format the date to it says month/day/year instead of the reverse. You can change that in your english.php language file.
