Notifications from wishlist

Hi to all, I have a feature request for OC 1.5.2.1
I would like a feature/extension which sends mail to the customers who added to their wishlist a product, when the price is changed, or added a new image, new feature, description changed, etc.
I have made a research but I couldn't find anything like that

Sounds like a good idea. Although, the wishlist does not contain the date of the added products as it currently cannot be matched with the products date modified field from the admin end. The bad idea of this subject is when customers adds the same products all together (or most of them) and the email would need to be sent in mass to them about the same products.

I like this idea. Wishlist in my opinion should be there to put products there, which I want to buy later. The main reasons for buying product(s) later are usually these:
1. Product is out of stock. (email notificiation when it becomes available)
2. I want the product, but I am waiting for a price drop. (email notificiation when the price drops)
I see no other reason for a wishlist to be there and as far as I know, it has no email notification, right?
