sql Assistance

Hello OpenCart Community,

I have attempted to install the cart and have run into some issues that this forum has already allowed me to resolve. Now I am faced with an error from the sql database, something that i have very limited experience dealing with. I am a web designer, but not too fond of backend programming/ databases. I could really use some help!

Step One - no problem.

Step Two - I enter in the database info and it sends me this...



I uploaded the "opencart" document from the install folder into the sql database. was this wrong? I have not tampered with anyfiles, (esp sql) so i am wondering what went wrong if i'm just uploading an already functioning product...

Anyone's assistance is greatly appreciated!

What version of MySQL are you using?

Older versions don't support UTf-8.
