Hi,

The site / products don't load blazingly fast but it's acceptable. You can consider to use a caching plugin so the php / DB connections don't use CPU resources on every page. I use this one:
http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... order=DESC

If network bandwidth is your bottleneck, it's time to look at another hoster.

this mod can help dramatically : http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... on_id=3477

Hard to know what is better hosting without knowing what hosting you have.

GoDaddy has some of the worst hosting in the industry.

seems that the loading is still quiet slow considering i only have 5-10 products...

is there anything else i can try before moving hosting?

I had a similar issue with GoDaddy, tried their service with Wordpress once as they were cheap, their hosting was stupidly slow, after a number of calls to their support dept, I decided it was a non starter and moved everything over to Zen in the UK and my site speeds are fantastic.
