i've seen this a few times. Restarting my browser or clearing cache usually helps.
Try another browser too

thanks man, it was ok in IE, then I cleaned the cache in FF and its fine. I think it might be due to the fact that there was another cart cms installed in that address before.

Just an FYI, I made the switch from FF to Opera this week, because FF has been acting SUPER slowly with any extensive Javascript elements.

And "FireBug" for FireFox makes Javascript even slower.... Opera for the win :)

So disable firebug? You added it, if its slow, then disable it.

Opera had their chance.. before FF came out Opera was set to be the best of the best.. but Firefox and Extensions blew them away... It's sad, Opera is still faster loading.. but they waited too long to be "free" and with no extensions... they are just "that other browser"... even losing to safari.. which is really sad.

Have you tried Opera recently? I highly suggest giving it a shot... I've never bothered with it until recently and now I'm using it full time.

Also, for Firebug, you dont need to disable it entirely... just disable the "Javascript Engine" that way it isn't indexing Javascripts, which is what's causing the lag in the admin section (all that AJAX).

Yea i have the latest always for testing my site to make sure its not broke. It's lightning fast as always.. but I've grown attached to some extensions like firebug & xmarks & fireFTP & DownThemAll that opera doesn't have.
