Hi,

I have installed the latest Opencart 1.5.2.1 with SSL. I enabled SSL on my webserver (Apache), enabled ssl in the OC backend and edited the config files for backend and frontend. This is what happens:

* user visits the page and adds something to the cart (http)
* user wants to checkout and clicks on checkout
* User sees the checkout page (https), but the cart is empty.

The backend is also on https but after a few minutes I have to login again because somehow the session is lost.

When I disable ssl, there are no problems at all.

Anyone else experiencing the same?

Thanks!

usually that problem occurs because the https address is wrong. I've never used this cart but somewhere in your files you will find this:
http;equals>this will be your site and right below it will be;
https;equals>this will be your hosts ssl address.
Now as I said I never used this cart yet but thats how most carts are set up.

Hi,

I checked these settings in <root>/config.php and <root>/admin/config.php and it is all correct. I also have a 1.5.1.3 installation and I don't have any problems with SSL there. Maybe it's a 1.5.2.x issue?
