Bulk Insert Products?

I have a client with 3,000 products. We're trying to avoid having to add them one at a time via the OpenCart admin. I've tried using the Export/Import module (http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... ion_id=198) but it fails miserably.
Is there any other way to bulk insert products?
