Received this from the USPS today. Does this affect anything that will cause issues for Opencart (I'm on 1.4.9.6, but asking about Opencart in general, really).

Web Tools integrator;

As communicated first in May 2011, outdated versions of the Web Tools Domestic Rate Calculator API (Rate and RateV2) will be retired on March 31, 2012. At that time, requests to the Rate and RateV2 APIs will result in error message responses. If you are no longer sending requests to Rate and RateV2, please disregard this message.

Integrators should migrate to the current version of the Domestic Rate Calculator API (RateV4). Technical documentation is available at https://www.usps.com/business/webtools- ... guides.htm.

nope..we are on the latest V4 now so no worries

I have OC Version 1.4.9.1 and for shipping Qphoria's USPS_Live_Rates_v149.1

I just saw that the shipping module "USPS Live Rates (OpenCart Addon)" is discontinued:
http://opencartguru.com/usps_live

I'm assuming the USPS_Live_Rates_v149.1 version does not connect to the (RateV4) Domestic Rate Calculator API, so come April 1 (seriously April Fools Day?) my USPS Live shipping calculator will no longer work?

Is there a replacement for USPS Live Rates? Do I need to upgrade to the latest OC version?

Thanks Q. I figured I was going to have to eventually, I was just hoping a magical fairy would come and save the day, so I could be lazy and keep using the outdated version.
