Hello!
I have a problem with my homemade danish language pack.. What files should be edited as well to make it work ?
Thanks,
Hi
Im not sure I know enough to help you - but I have installed a danish language pack as well - also homemade - and I'll help you as much as I can.
I myself have som problems with the danish charsets (using either "da_DK.UTF8" and "iso-8859-1") - when customers open an account entering their adress using the danish letters Æ,Ø and Å these lettes do not show - even though the rest of the site shows those special danish lettes fine.. I have experimented quite a bit, and it seems that the adress shows OK using just "utf-8" as charsets, but then the rest of the site, the menus and headings mess up the danish special letters. I have tried changing both the admin charsets and the catalog charsets - and the problem still persists. I Have exausted the possibilities within my abilities
... Help from anyone to this problem would be much appreciated...
But Polar bear... What I have done installing the danish language pack is simple. Just copy a version of the entire folder named "english" located in: catalog - language, and translate every nonoperational file in it to danish. Then upload the folder to the "language" directory.
- Then you enter the admin panel and insert a danish language file named da. Then make a little danish flag of size 24x15px and upload it to: catalog - default - image.
If you want - you can have my danish translation - but as I said I stille have one or two problems to deal with. Generally it works though...
Regards

Hi Jakvem,
I would love to have your Danish files too...
maybe you can make a precise list of the problems you encounter, and we could possibly work on it all together. Then eventually, I am sure something gets worked out...
I propose you upload it somewhere for example megaupload.com
and post the link here, then as people sort out the problems encountered, eventually a perfectly working version will turn up...
Cheers
