[UPDATED] Export/Import module for Opencart 1.3.2

The Export/Import module is now available for the new OpenCart 1.3.2 release.

The spreadhsheet now includes support for the 'measurement unit' and the 'length', 'width', 'height' fields.

Just so you know, you haven't used 1.3.2's files, which means you are backdating some of the files a bit, hence the new features such as customer groups and the error log are missing when you install this.

Here are the appropriate changes to make it fully 1.3.2 compatible:

There seems to be a bug with the category sheet.

It repeats each category; one with the correct seo url, and a second with the first product in that category.

Are you sure your using the latest correct version of the Export/Import module? I am aware of this bug but thought I had fixed it in the latest version. If not, can you e-mail me a copy of your database so I can replciate the error locally and fix it.

In the link you gave, the filename was 1.3.0, so i used the second one down whos file name was the same as the link i gave to fix the menu issue.

Well my host enabled the tmpfile (yippe) so I was able to get past the tmpfile error i was having

But I am still getting werid info in the description column

My office 03 gave an error about being to many errors to fix
And the resulting file just had a bunch of numbers

Are you using the latest Export/Import version for your OpenCart 1.3.2 ?

If so, and it still fails, there is still something wrong with the error checking level in your PHP. Might be worth trying to comment out the lines 67-68 of your admin/index.php file:

Just to make it clear to all:

Please do NOT use MS Office for creating its so-called HTML documents! All you get is rubbish, anything but clean HTML. Also, you cannot just copy and paste Word documents into the product description, be it in the spreadsheet or via Opencart's product edit page. MS Word will cause loads of errors, wrong HTML markups and HTML elements which don't even belong in the product description.

Use a genuine, standard-compliant HTML editor, and when you copy and paste into the product description, only copy the paragraphs located within the <body>...</body> portion of the document.

I just installed the new export/import tool. I had a problem with backup, fixed by removing an extra '. I am not able to export my db to spreadsheet. It creates a blank 0kb xls file. Any thoughts on this, anything extra I can provide?
