Change currency

I am in Australia, I want:

1) delete default currencies on top of main page (Pound, US dollar etc) or modify in someway.
2) when users pay, they pay by Australia dollars.

How to change settings about above?

Go to admin>system>localization>currencies
you can edit/delete them from there

how do i change the default currency to AUD, but still need to have USD as secondary

Set that in your system->Settings on the local tab
