I'm working on 2 stores, one is under the main domain: mysite.com and the other one is under test.mysite.com.
Now, both domains are directed to a different folder where a fresh OC is fully intalled. Here's the problem: when i uploaded OC to the one of the domains (mysite.com), the OC i had installed on test.mysite.com got overrided and looked exactly the same as the new installation, so pretty much i lost all the work i had on the "test" subdomain. How can this have happened? i made sure both OC installs were on different folders, and one is on the main domain and the other one on the subdomain.
What am i missing here?
Have you checked the config.php & admin/config.php to make sure they are not pointing to the same site?
