Hello,
I want to install OpenCart on my Joomla website but I have just one mysql database. How would this work? Do I have to have additional database to install this?

there is a post somewhere on here with info about calling opencart from another cms or static html...

do a search...

btw... intergrating with wordpress would be very similar to intergrating with joomla

cheers

you don't need additional database to install the opencart, just need to set prefix for each one. examp: jo25_ for joomla and op15_ for opencart.

beside, there is an joomla extension call ayelshop, that mix the joomla and Opencart together. personally I don't like it :)

News/Blog extension for opencart, show Tagging related product while reading article

FAQ System for opencart, allow user to give feedback on each article

I do not think that integration in joomla is easy as with wordpress,
