REQUEST Add downloadable products to customer Accounts

If I have posted in the wrong place, please point me in the right direction. (New to OC using v 1.5.2.1)

I sell downloadable products only (digital designs for Embroidery machines). In addition to selling, I also have a club where I give away monthly designs provided the member meets the terms to receive another. The designs aren't publicly for sale until the current month is up.

I would like to have a way to add a downloadable product (design) to the members Account(s).

Ideally, I would like to be able to pick several members accounts at once, to add the download to BUT, adding to one account at a time would be fine too.

Please keep in mind these members signed up for the "free designs" so, they KNOW they will be getting them. I wouldn't be adding things to accounts that they potentially don't want/didn't ask for.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Is it something in the works? Can it even be done? Or should I give up on hoping?

Unless someone has specifically told you its in the works, then its highly unlikely it is. Can it be done? Yes, but unless you're commissioning someone to do it, chances are you aren't going to get it done

just manually edit the account.tpl very easy
