I`ve just ordered two modules from OC extensions, both are showing a status of "being reviewed"
Is this some sort of new thing OC have started doing as every other module I have bought over the last few months has always been available for instant download. How long does this being reviewed status take to review??

Last september we didn't have a fraud system in place. The fraud system is designed to protect the sellers. Once we deem a user ok, we can whitelist them, but this is a new process so we are working on the best balance of risk protection. Same here with me - I'm developing e-store for a customer, chose to use opencart and when I tried purchasing modules yesterday - after the review I got refunded! How is your anti-fraud system works and why I've been refunded? Am I not a welcomed customer?
You should drop them an email instead. Writing here might not get their attention. It might have failed the requirement such as your ip address does not match with the country of your PayPal account.

ok, I'm in the same boat here suddenly, I've bought in the past 8 modules and now I'm waiting... I really need this now, I had no idea about these changes otherwise I would have bought it sooner. I would appreciate any attention to this matter...

Dang. Now I am waiting to "be reviewed" even though I have purchased five extensions in the past. I guess traveling from the US to Canada is a suspicious activity. PayPal has charged my credit card already and it confirms that OpenCart has been paid. Perhaps we should all complain to PayPal that OpenCart took our money but is not delivering in a timely fashion?
Plus one to the above. Already been "reviewed" for my last purchase a few days ago; just downloaded another extension and my transaction is being reviewed once more. Once is understandable, but to continually "be reviewed" when using exactly the same account and payment method is damned irritating when you're busy and on a deadline - which is a position many of us are in, hence we choose to purchase an extension to solve an issue in a hurry rather than write our own.
If this isn't sorted in a timely manner I'll be downloading from venor's own websites in future, rather than OpenCart.com.

Same here...just wanted to add mine to the list of people being reviewed. This is the seventh extension I've purchased since October. You think I'd be "whitelisted" by now. I also completed this purchase with my PayPal balance, so I'm not sure how this could even be flagged as fraud. I've basically paid with cash and have not been given my product. Very unhappy.
Yet, nothing appears to change. Essentially treating honest, regular, paying customers with contempt, on the basis that some less honest types turn up and attempt to thieve.
