I have a store where drop shipping is provided for me. All was well when all my products were shipped UPS with calculated rates based on zip code destination using the UPS API. The customer, upon checkout, could choose between ground, 2nd day, and overnight so I would order the product and use the requested shipping option selected. Now things are a bit more complicated in that some products still ship UPS, some ship USPS, some ship flat rate, and some ship free! I'm only including the ship by UPS products in my catalog until I can figure out how to do this. Any ideas? Would a weight based method do the trick for non-free and non-flat rate products where the customer doesn't choose a shipping option but then wouldn't I need a zone for every zip code? And then how to set product based free and flat rate shipping? Argghh...
