Category Filter menu

Hi,

I have moved to opencart from zencart and it's my first post. Hope this journey goes smooth. Due to nature of products, i need to have category filter menu ( hope its correct word ) but see the attached pic to get better idea.

Im sure there will be mod for this so waiting for your help.

I want something similar to this. A sidebar menu, I need a product filter module which will be on all pages on the site. most products will be applied to a couple of categories so wish to filter by multiple categories and (sub categories).
