Make sure you've installed all of the files in the correct locations.

If the errors continue after that, then I'd suggest getting in touch with the developer of the extension regarding the errors.

You are right, there is a bug.

version 1.7 of CanadaPost module stopped working as of OpenCart 1.5.1

I've done a new version, not published on my website, i'll do it soon

Thanks a lot! it looks fine now(the only error I get is "unable to connect to sellonline.canadapost.ca:30000 (Permission denied)" and it's because of the "free hosting" limitations. the host doesn't unlock the port 30000. do you know any way to get around this? btw, now, unless I disable the cp module, I do not have other shipping options, and they are enabled. I'm going to switch to paid hosting and it will not be a problem, but if something "stuck" on the server side, I'd like still to have other shipping options accessible. If there is a way to "skip" (in the code) and go to other available option, so if cp connection doesn't work I will have all the rest working? Thanks.

Hi,

I just installed the 1.8 version and I still can't get this module to work in french only. English works fine... It says it can't connect to the Canada Post server... And even if I choose another Shipping option, I can't get past the shipping step.

Can anybody help me? Our website is planned to go live in less than one week :(

You can test the check out here: http://cartamagicastore.com/OpenC

**Update
Sorry, I just went to test my payments in English, and the module still can't connect!

check the error log, if y you see same error as I have - you have a problem with the host blocking the port...

Hi,

I checked my logs and the connection is timing out. Any way to fix this?

I also checked with my hosting provider and all is well there, communication with Canada Post server is ok.

I even tested my connection to the canada post server (see post http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=112&t=49126) and I am able to connect to the server using the script.

So why can't I get the info requested with OpenCart?

Hi guys,
I installed it, but have problem connecting to the Canada Post server. Is it port issue or module itself?
Thanks,
Bob

Hi my Canada Post module is having issues with multiple items. My cart is adding total weight correctly but if there are multiple items the shipping is not calculating properly. Example: 10 pieces total weight .5 lbs Canada Post is $12.00 verses 15 pieces total weight .75 lbs Canada Post is $33.00. Shipping price continues to jump. Please Help!

I have:
Use Original Packaging For All Products: If set, Canada Post assumes items will not be packed together.
Set to No

is anyone getting CP "regular shipping rates" only? I supposed to get the regular parcel, the xpress post and the priority, but I'm getting just the first one... any idea? Thanks.
