anybody ever had trouble setting up this module?

Hi, I have fixed the install instruction, and provided another method for installing the modules please see: http://www.opencart.com/contribution/in ... tion_id/13
After installing the latest version the options aren't showing up in the store. Any ideas why this might be the case?

Did you enable each of the modules? after installing, and assigning the permissions to the module you should be able to click on the wrench icon, and enable them, and also specify either All Zones or the zone you wish to use.
I am working on an update to this module should be out next week or so, where we can specifically notify the costumer where to send payments to, currently I have a small hack in the checkout success page to advising where to send payments.

I messed up with the ctrl-click permissions change and now I'm locked out.
I overwrote the Top Admin permissions so I replaced them with the Demonstration accounts. Is it possible to post the permissions for the Top Administraotr account or just the portion that will allow me to edit user groups?
These are found in the permission column of the user_group table.

I am not sure how this access denied issue was resolved.
I installed both bankdeposit modules and check and on both, when I press the + button it gives access denied. I ran the script addign the permission, then it says "The page you request could not be found!"
addign the page from the users/top admin menu is not possible as the page does not appear there.

I have the same problem...
After installing the modules I have enabled it but when I actually checkout it doesn't show these options.
Please someone help me to solve this, I have read a lot of posts related to this topic but just seem can't work it out.

Firstly, you have to give admin permissions to the module (not required for version 0.7.9) which you must have done because you say you have enabled the module
Secondly, in admin > extension > payment, you need to :
1. install it
2. set it up by clicking the notepad with pencil icon and filling in the required data
3. enable it with the wrench/spanner

That is strange. I have installed it dozens of times without any problems and on both 0.7.8 and 0.7.9
Have you ensured that you have enabled the module for the geo zone of the address you are checking out with
Trace back from admin > configuration > localisation > geo zone > folder on the left
Is that geo zone enabled in Admin > extensions > payment > click on the wrench/spanner

2. What is the geo zone for that address
3. Is that geo zone enabled for money order

The bank deposit module is exactly the same as the money order module
The only difference is that the words money order are replaced with the words bank deposit

It means, you do not have permissions to modify the bank deposit payment modulemlorac wrote: "Warning: You do not have permission to modify payment Bank Deposit". Any idea why?
Go back to the install.txt and follow the instructions.
In particular, this part:

4. Go to Admin >> Configuration >> Users >> User Groups click on the "Notepad+Pencil" icon
for the "Top Administrator" you will notice alot of modules selected already, hold down the
[CTRL] key on your keyboard and select "payment_bank" in both
Access and Modify sections. Click on "Save".
5. Go to Extensions >> Payment and for the Bank Deposit module, click on the "Wrench"
and then "Enable". Click on "Save"
