WHAT IT DOES
Custom title tags is a mod designed to give you control over your html <title> tags, for adding your keywords to them without worrying about it changing titles across your other pages. By default they are simply the title of the item, and you end up with titles that are plain or mess up your stores look and feel if you add extra key words.

With this modification, you don't have to worry about that. This is ideal for anyone wanting to improve their SEO by adding custom keywords into their titles, which get picked up by Google and the other search giants, and get you higher in the search rankings as a result. The mod allows you to be specific to individual product, category, manufacturer and information pages. It is also multilingual ** (except for manufacturers as opencart does not accomodate it by default) **

Wanted to throw an idea at you: maybe you could combine all your SEO mods together in a vqmod and sell it at a discount? Maybe call it "Ultimate SEO" or something? Just purchased this and successfully installed it...the only issue I'm having is that I use CSV Import Pro and now when I try to import a feed I get this error:

I did notice that it still uploaded my products correctly, I'm just wondering if there is a quick fix to make this error message go away whenever I upload...?

Please make sure you've run the SQL commands as the install says as you've not adjusted the table to have it. If you're still struggling, PM me your ftp details and I'll fix it when I can

Is anyone experiencing problems with the title tags being indexed in Google? I have set custom tags for all my cats etc. and it has been over 2 weeks but Google has indexed the site name and not the custom tag?

Google can take months to reindex a site. I have numerous clients with this installed without any issue in google

I am also getting this error:


Notice: Undefined index: custom_title in /home/peterman/public_html/art/vqmod/vqcache/vq2-catalog_controller_product_product.php on line 224

at the top of every product details page.... I am not 100% sure which plugin is causing this, but I suspect its the SEO plugin.

Any advice is appreciated!!

Hi Peter

Go to CATALOG > PRODUCTS and it should auto install the database table changes. If it's not, please send me FTP details via PM and I'll fix it for you
