Affiliate program

I have been looking at the affiliate program in opencart 1.5.1 but it only seems to allow you to link to one product, is there any way you can just use the affiliate url to go to the store homepage but any orders made via the site are recordered so that the affiliate gets thier comission no matter what the customer buys.

if not is there any recomended modules to do this?

You can use link _ttp://yousite.com/index.php?route=common/home&tracking=yourtrackingID
