Integrating some web pages with opencart

What I have is a client with a web site they did from a free template that lets you build a website and a store inn one. The one she is using will not work for what she wants to do. So I am trying to set up open cart to let her see if she would like to use it. I have here site banner in open cart already no prob with doing that. What I would like to do is have the home page in open cart have the information from her web site home page on it. Also have another page in open cart the will have the information from her about us page. I don't want any of the product images on these pages. I am not sure if I can do this. Or maybe I can just point the home link in open cart to her home page and create a link names about us and have it point to the about us page on her main site. But not sure what file I need to go into to point the links to her main site.

In admin, go to catalog >information and create as many pages as you need.

Will it work properly if I add PHP code in one of those pages?
