Uploading a .JPG problem

Sorry Folks,

Have just done some research on the site, seems that there is a problem with the capitalisation of the names/extensions I'll try it in lower case and let you know.

Hi,

I have recently installed opencart and have been adding products, just to test the site out. I have captured some web images and uploaded them without any problem, however I find that when I try and upload pictures that I have taken and resized using both Gimp and Iphoto they won't display.

Even dropping the quality to a minimum so as the jpg size is only in the order of 10k doesn't seem to make any difference. I have tried to capture a web image and upload it and that is no longer working either, have I mad a change to a setting that is hidden in the background somewhere?

Any help or suggestions would be welcome as I'm at a bit of a loss here.

I'm using opencart 1.5.1.3

Regards

Dave Munro

Well it would seem that I'm a bit wrong here, the situation is still the same regardless of the extension - capitalised or not. I would like to know if I've just done something stupid or not - probably have.

I'll keep plodding away at this, but I'm not sure that I'm going to make any real progress.

Hey,

Make sure you're not using any symbols in the name of the image, such as ' " / . ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) .... etc.

Regards,
Joel.

I too am receiving the same problem with uploading images. My file names are typically "bagx_color-option.jpg" all my images are created using the same naming convention. Please let me know what the issue is. I have had this problem since yesterday. The last time I tried to upload was on 2/2/2012 and that file was uploaded successfully.
