What I'd like to do is to include a module from INSIDE the system OUTSIDE the system. Here's my reasoning:
- I have a custom display page for the whole site that isn't OpenCart
- I want to display FEATURED ITEMS, for example, on that page
- I think this would be a great feature to offer the OC community...
What I really need it just a pointer in the right direction.... like, what files will be required in my display document to make it work. I don't need any programming help, I already know php quite well - my issue is that OC is pretty complex, and I don't have a map showing the relationships of all the files in the engine with regards to modules, pages, routing, etc.
Heck, even a map like that would be pretty helpful for modifiers like me... anyone?
I think even an iFrame would be acceptable, if a page with only specific modules could be created without the rest of the display...
