Franchise Module

Might there be a way to use opencart for a franchise system?

It would still be a main website/ecommerce, but franchise stores could order supplies and track sales in their protected district all through the site.

Just thinking out loud re a franchise system on top of regular web sales, would be cool, thanks

I think you'd be looking at commercial support more then anything else for this one as I don't really seeing it be a large benefit for the average OpenCart shop. There are some multi-vendor (search multi-vendor on extension store) extensions available which on some level might come close to the functionality, a programmer would probably have to take it the rest of the way.

I found this module but it looks like it might be abandoned (?)
