long story short...
Called USPS, they said twice im on Prod server, got the confirmation email

Yet I am still getting the dreaded :
Authorization failure. Perhaps username and/or password is incorrect.



All fields are filled in, geozones set to all, have tried it with other shipping modules enabled, and all others disabled,


Size: filled out
Container: filled out
Machinable: no
* Dimensions (L x W x H): filled out

* Girth: Done

Weight Class: pound
Must be set to Pound.

Tax Class: taxable goods (all my goods are set to taxable)
Geo Zone: all zones
Status: enabled
Sort Order: left blank
Debug Mode: disabled

comes up in FF IE and Chrome
open cart Ver 1.5.1.3




EDIT:went to debug and got this error

authorization only refers to your usps web id. They may say you are on prod but you are clearly not.

Also be sure you are entering it correctly and don't have any spaces and be sure you are not using your click-n-ship login

copied and pasted from their email after typing it in failed....
calling back now, they were closed when i called back yesterday - prob due to the holiday

Yet another case of getting the verification email saying i was on prod server, and obviously wasn't

I called, after he "refreshed" my info, it magically started working :P

OK. I need to ask a stupid question. I too recieved the message from USPS that I have been authorized but I have no idea where I need to go to put in the URL they sent in the email. Can someone help direct me to where I go to change the URL.

you dont change the url. It is already set.

I tried searching for the USPS url both in opencart php files and in database and I did not find it. Where and how is the USPS url (e.g. https://secure.shippingapis.com/ShippingAPI.dll) set?
