I also installed a few language packs (copied files to my webserver).
Then I went to shop and was asked to complete a 3 step process after which I got installation confirmation. On the confirmation page, I had the option to visit shop OR admin. I chose admin and logged on.
Now, I can't figure out how to configure my shop as laid down at: http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... on/setting
I need to provide my shop name, logo, owner details etc. and even add products etc.
Additionally, I need to provide localization, e.g. languages and currency. On http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... n/language it says
Problem is, in the admin console, I can't find any place to do any of this stuff!!"Add the new language via admin"

All I see in the admin console is the menu:
