I am very new to this kind of shopping cart. When I like to try this Opencart, I had a problem while extracting the files in the downloaded .zip file. There are plenty of duplicate files in it, so that while extracting I am getting warning messages to replace the existing file. What can I do. Please help

As mentioned you cannot have the same file name in the same directory, I assume what happened is you tried to extract the file 2 times to the same place.cpupark wrote: Hi

But, still I was not able to unzip all the contents on one folder.
Actually I downloaded the V0.6.5 zip files from the download section.
When I opened it on WinZip, I can see many duplicate files, means the files are placed 2 times inside the zip file. (Example: .htaccess, order.php, option.php, address.php, etc.,). If I tried to extract the files on one directory, I am getting file replacement warning when the second file start to extract. I think you experts may understand my problem. Please help.

It is not possible to have the same file name in the same directory, on any operating system.
Please re-download the file and try again, or choose another extracting tool, such as WinRAR from http://rarlabs.com/download.htm
or 7-Zip from http://www.7-zip.org/

It is my mistake. They way I did the unzip was wrong. Usually I open the zip file and select all the files using CTRL+A and drag-drop into a folder, so that all the files will be extracted. But in this case it did not worked. Now I right clicked the zip file and used the "Extract Here" context menu. Now I got all the files in a separate
folder. Now I realized the way I did the unzipping was wrong until now. Thanks for the immediate help from helpful good people. Now I will try to install the files on my server.
