Has this been done in any CMS?? Ive browsed the extensions, and searched over google and i have found no documentation that someone has done this before.
Personally, I'm working on adding the CMS features I want into opencart. All the info is already in OC - just need to customize it for my specific tracking needs. Have you considered it?

i read a post where someone mentioned about adding a folder and dropping phpBB in it. But I havent found anything on how to set it up. Im got a Joomla site i made awhile back id like to use.

Ayel is a commercial extension for joomla to integrate opencart into joomla. while it does have a small cost it's received outstanding reviews - http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions ... cart/19307
