password/user problems

I've installed opencart v1.3.0 twice.
I finally got the oc_ prefix on the database problem solved, but after doing so and getting the admin login, the login does not accept the username and password I created during the install.
How can I access the admin panel.

1.3.0 is fine.
some people are having trouble upgrading. there was small problem with prefixes on install but that was it.

I had the same exact problem-- went through and dropped all of my old tables and replaced them with the new ones. This meant that all my old data had been lost, but I figured once I got into the admin it would let me update.
I couldn't get into the admin panel either. so I imported my old SQL database and then it let me log in-- I was able to install all my backups as well, but am still receiving a slew of problems....
Since I did go and import all my old tables, I don't know if that converted the oc_ tables (renamed to what they should have been) into the older table format; I haven't the foggiest how mySQL works so maybe it's safe. But it'll get you logged into admin at least!
I don't know how to import a single table so if you could import user_group on its own that may fix the login problem.
