Is it possible to allow one customer to be in multiple customer groups?

Looking at item disscounts being applied to groups, and would want the higher discount to be applied to the user. So if I have group A, B, and C....Item is discounted to A 10%, B 20% and C 30%.

Customer X is in Group A and B....he would get the 20%....customer Y is in A and C, he would get the 30%....if Just A...then 10% (obviously).

Is there any mod's that allow this? or can it be done simply?

I have a main group I want most of the customer's to be in (besides default), but then a subset of these customer's would be in (usually) one other group. I want a vendor to be able to give a discount for the main group, and the subset group that they run.

Hope I been able to make it clear.
