I have spent much time trying to improve my shop and understand the internal structure of OpenCart, besides the area of administration options..etc.. I made the store into 6 languages and I found the unpleasant surprise that Google is only indexing my shop in one language, the main language!

How can I do that? I would to have a site with 6 languages, SEO URLs and Googlebot friendly?

I've been reading old posts that are so disappointing in this sense that I'm considering to change with PrestaShop, something that would hurt not only by time and money invested here, but also because I love OpenCart (until to date!)...
What is the philosophy that OpenCart pursues putting hidden languages who no one will ever find through a search engine? I can't understand that point! Or I have no reason? ??? ??? ???

It's true that this is a major issue of opencart. I created uberseo to use multilingual urls for this reason. Check out my signature for the module link

Jay,
thanks for the reply and thanks for making this good extension. If not for this extension, it was quite clear that he could not continue with OpenCart. Now the choice is a little bit more difficult :P

In which direction will OpenCart work? What are the new features planned for the next version? There are some pages that talk about it? You know something about?
